How AMC Consulting Partners handles personal data collected through this website.

Last updated: July 17, 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Patricia Champion
AMC Consulting

Phone: +39 331 254 0365

2. General information

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website is designed so that it processes as little personal data as possible. We do not maintain a database of visitor or user data, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only things we keep track of are a rough visitor count, so we know the site is reaching people, and your light/dark preference, so the site looks the way you like it on your next visit — both explained in Section 4 below.

3. Server log files (hosting)

When you visit this website, our hosting provider's web server automatically and temporarily records certain technical information for security and stability purposes. This may include:

  • Your IP address (anonymized or shortened where technically possible)
  • Date and time of the request
  • Browser type and version, operating system
  • The page you requested and the referring page

This data is processed automatically by the hosting infrastructure, is not merged with any other data source, and is not used to identify you personally. It is stored only for a short period as required for technical operation and IT security, and is then deleted. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the stable and secure operation of our website.

4. Analytics and theme preference

This website uses two lightweight tools, and nothing else — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no user profiling.

  • Visit counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics). We use this privacy-friendly analytics service to see how many people visit the site and which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites; it only reports aggregate numbers, so we cannot identify you personally from this data.
  • Theme preference (local storage). If you switch between light and dark mode, we save that choice directly in your browser (not on our servers) so the site opens in the mode you picked next time. This is not shared with us or anyone else.

5. Contact by email, phone, or contact form

If you contact us by email or phone, the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and the content of your message) is used solely to process and respond to your inquiry. This data is not stored beyond what is necessary to handle your request and is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless we are legally required to retain it for a longer period (e.g. for tax or commercial law purposes). The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

If you use the contact form on this website, the data you enter into the form (such as your name, email address, and message) is transmitted to us and used exclusively to process your inquiry and to respond to any follow-up questions. We do not use this data for any other purpose and do not pass it on to third parties without your consent. The data you enter is stored only for as long as is necessary to handle your inquiry; once the matter has been fully resolved, it is deleted, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under tax or commercial law) require longer storage. The legal basis for processing this data is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where the form is used to initiate or fulfil a contract, and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding efficiently to inquiries submitted to us. You may withdraw your consent to the storage of your personal data and contact details provided via the contact form at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 1; this does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal.

6. Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and respond to enquiries: our hosting provider, our email provider, our domain registrar, and Cloudflare for the visit counter described in Section 4. Each of them processes data only on our behalf, only for the purpose described here, and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

7. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with the service providers listed in Section 6 where necessary to operate the website or respond to your enquiry, or when required by law.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for: enquiry and contact-form data until your request is resolved, plus any period required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax or commercial law); technical log data for a short period as described in Section 3. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. No use of external content or embedded services

Where this website does not embed third-party content (such as social media plugins, fonts, or video players), no data is transmitted to third-party servers when you visit the site. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

10. Data security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 1.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to this website or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
